Iconoclast began as a collaboration between the Terlato family and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, built on the idea that rules are made to be challenged and that classic Napa style does not have to follow the crowd. The Terlatos have imported and produced fine wine for three generations and own Chimney Rock and Rutherford Hill in Napa Valley, giving them deep grower relationships across the valley.

The Iconoclast Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon draws on those relationships to assemble a wine that reads as unmistakably Napa: ripe, polished and generous. It is aged roughly 20 months in French oak, which adds baking spice and a rounded, lush texture without burying the fruit, and finishes around 14.5% ABV. In the glass it shows deep ruby with purple edges, bold and bright dark fruit of blackberry and black cherry layered with vanilla and sweet spice, carried by supple tannins into a long, smooth finish. It is built to drink well on release with a steak or a cheese board.
