Lost Lore Tequila was founded by Arturo Lomas III to revive a family craft: his great-grandfather made agave spirits in Jalisco in the early 1900s, the trade passed to his grandfather and father, and was lost before it reached him. Lost Lore is his answer, an additive-free tequila made the traditional way at Feliciano Vivanco y Asociados, NOM 1414, in Arandas.

The house process is simple and old-school: fully mature tequilana Weber agave cooked in stone and brick ovens, roller-mill extraction, open-air fermentation in stainless steel with the tanks serenaded by music, and double distillation in copper pots. The result is an agave-forward, mineral-driven tequila that has earned a strong following among additive-free drinkers and single-barrel pickers.
