Mainland Rum is an American independent bottler that releases single barrels of aged rum distilled in the United States, one state at a time. Seth Benhaim, the founder of Broken Barrel Whiskey, launched it out of Los Angeles in June 2025 after a single 10-gallon barrel of rum convinced him domestic rum could compete. The approach is strict: every barrel is bottled at cask strength with no blending, no water, and no additives, and most of the stock comes from rare or discontinued runs, including a closed Savannah distillery.
