The winemaking marries traditional Bordeaux practices with a plush New World touch, and the finished wine lands at 13.5% ABV under screw cap. Deep ruby in the glass, it opens with blackberry, boysenberry and bramble over toasty vanilla and graham cracker, with a velvety, soft-tannin palate that is easy to like and easy to pour.
