Minhwa Spirits is a Korean-American craft distillery in Doraville, Georgia, founded by childhood friends James Kim and Ming Han Chung. Named for minhwa, the Korean folk painting tradition, the brand draws on Kim's family history of home-brewed makgeolli and aims to reshape how Americans see Korean alcohol by making traditional distilled soju rather than the diluted mass-market style.

Its soju is made from four ingredients: Asian-variety rice grown in Arkansas, north Georgia spring water, yeast and nuruk, the traditional Korean fermentation starter imported from Korea, with no sweeteners, preservatives or additives. Yong, the 80-proof flagship, won Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2024 and 2025 and was named Best of Class in 2025, the first soju outside Korea to take the title.
