Sagamore Spirit is the Baltimore distillery leading the revival of Maryland rye, founded by Under Armour's Kevin Plank on the waterfront in Port Covington. Maryland was once one of America's great rye states, known for a softer, fruitier style than Pennsylvania's, and Sagamore recreates it by blending a high-rye and a low-rye whiskey and proofing with limestone spring water from Sagamore Farm. The range spans the 83 proof Signature Rye, Double Oak, Cask Strength, single barrel picks, the Reserve Series 8 Year and finished editions like the acclaimed Tequila Barrel Finish.
