The Spade & Sparrows California Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from warm-climate vineyards across the Central Coast and interior valleys and made in a soft, fruit-forward style with modest oak influence at about 13.5% ABV. Expect a medium-bodied red with ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum, a touch of vanilla and mocha from oak, gentle tannins and a smooth, lightly spiced finish that does not demand food or cellaring. It is the kind of Cabernet made for a backyard barbecue, pizza night, burgers or simply a glass on the couch.
