Cape Cod Great White Rum is a handmade American rum from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, a region whose 19th-century sailors and merchants built fortunes on the rum trade. It is made from molasses and brown sugar, aged in used bourbon barrels for up to six months, then filtered to perfection for a rum that a 19th-century sailor would recognize while boasting 21st-century quality and character.
The result is exceptionally smooth and drinkable, with a delicate balance of refined smoothness for a refreshing summer sipping rum and enough depth and flavor for a mixed cocktail, at 40% ABV. It won Silver at the 2016 American Distilling Institute awards and Bronze at the 2015 New York International Spirits Competition.
