Barrell is becoming one of my new favorites. Complex taste, makes for great sipping drink.

I’m a couple pours into this uniquely finished spirit. While it’s technically not a bourbon, it finishes with nice heat. The pallate on Dovetail takes you across so many experiences none of which are too dominate. Rather, the various finishes splash across the palette front to back finishing with a rather nice spiced raisin note. I’m looking forward to spending more time with this one as it opens up. I think this would be perfect in a cooler climate particularly as a dessert option. If you like uniquely finished spirits, this is a top tier option. Worth the price

One of the best blended whiskeys on the market. Big, robust body with warm mixed berry pie base and long, buttery finish with hints of rich salted caramel. Very high ABV stands up GREAT to ice -- is like desert in a glass over a couple rocks. Makes me think of a hearty dessert with ma and pa after a long day posted up in a tree stand.
