Dos Artes means two arts — the tequila and the bottle — and every liter ceramic is hand-painted by Mexican artisans over a three-day process, so no two are alike; the tequila is 100% estate-grown blue Weber agave from Jalisco. The Reserva Especial is slow-cooked agave, double-distilled, aged eighteen months in American and French oak, finished three months in new French oak, and bottled at 40% ABV in the classic-design hand-painted one-liter decanter. Del Mesa: caramel, vanilla, and toffee on the nose, cooked agave and oak with caramel, vanilla, and toffee on the palate.
