Description: Fortaleza Añejo Tequila is a lush, aged expression that elevates the art of tequila to a refined, layered experience. Made from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave and crafted using traditional methods (stone-cooked, tahona-crushed, double-distilled), this añejo is then aged in American oak barrels for 18 to 24 months. That time in wood softens and deepens its character, yielding aromas of vanilla bean, butterscotch, baked agave, and toasted oak. On the palate, enjoy waves of caramel, dried fruit, spice, and marzipan, underscored by roasted agave and warm oak. The finish is long, velvety, and elegantly sweet—asserting a balance between agave’s purity and the complexity of aged oak.
