Kafe Anmé ("bitter coffee" in Haitian Creole) is a coffee and cacao liqueur from Ayiti Bitters Company, a Haitian producer that builds its bitters and liqueurs on the island's agricultural heritage and native cane spirit. Locally grown Typica Arabica coffee beans and high-quality Haitian cacao pods are infused into rum with native botanicals, including orange peel, herbs, roots and spices, then lightly sweetened with fresh cane juice. Bottled at 35% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The taste is rich roasted coffee and dark cacao with bitter orange, earthy roots and warm spice, balanced by a gentle cane sweetness and a long, bittersweet finish.
