Bajarriba Añejo is the top of the Bajarriba range, an additive-free 100% blue Weber agave tequila from the highlands of Jalisco, made by a third-generation master distiller whose family has grown agave and distilled tequila for 85 years. The agave is fully matured in volcanic soil at 7,000 feet, slow-roasted in brick hornos, and distilled in copper and stainless pots with pure deep-well water.
The añejo is aged for a minimum of a year in oak barrels, taking on a beautiful amber hue and a harmonious blend of rich caramel, vanilla, and oak over the intense baked-agave sweetness and white pepper that define the house style, with a smooth, lingering finish at 40% ABV. Sip it neat from a snifter after dinner. This 750 ml bottle is a limited, collector-grade añejo for the serious tequila enthusiast.
