Cantera Negra Reposado Tequila
Cantera Negra Reposado is a premium tequila from Cantera Negra, made from 100% blue Weber agave in the Jalisco highlands and named for the dark volcanic stone (cantera negra) quarried in the region and used in its distinctive bottle. The agave is slow-cooked, fermented and double-distilled, then the reposado rests in American oak barrels for months, taking on color and softness while keeping the bright agave character intact. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The taste is cooked agave and citrus with vanilla, light caramel and a touch of oak spice from the barrel, a smooth, rounded texture and a warm, clean finish. It is an excellent sipping tequila neat or over a large cube, and it elevates a margarita, a Paloma or a tequila Old Fashioned. A stylish bottle that makes a great gift for the tequila lover.
