Drambuie is the legendary Scotch whisky liqueur, a blend of aged Scotch whisky, heather honey, herbs and spices whose secret recipe is said to have been given by Bonnie Prince Charlie to the MacKinnon clan of Skye in thanks for sheltering him after the Battle of Culloden in 1746. The name comes from the Scots Gaelic "an dram buidheach," the drink that satisfies. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The taste is rich, golden honey and warming spice, clove, saffron and nutmeg, over a smooth Scotch whisky backbone, finishing long and sweet.
