Good Times is the whiskey brand of Coxs Creek Distilling Co., started in Kentucky in 2018 by Jimmy and Nick, two friends from high school. Their approach is to source mature bourbon from MGP in Indiana and then finish and bottle it in Kentucky in second casks. The Cigar Finish is their most layered treatment, finished in three different casks: Cognac, Armagnac and Oloroso sherry barrels. That gives a bourbon built on corn and new charred oak an extra layer from grape brandy and sherry wood. This bottle is a single barrel, barrel #395, picked jointly by Del Mesa Liquor and Chips Liquor. The barrel holds six-year-old MGP bourbon and was bottled at barrel strength, 116 proof (58% ABV), with no water added to bring it down. Since every barrel in a program like this comes out a little different, #395 is a one-off; once these bottles are gone there won't be another exactly like it. At this strength it's worth starting neat, then adding a few drops of water to see how the cask finishes open up.
