Heering Cherry Liqueur
Heering Cherry Liqueur is the original cherry liqueur, made in Denmark since 1818 by Peter Heering of Copenhagen and still produced from his recipe. Danish Stevns cherries are lightly crushed with their stones, macerated in neutral spirit with a blend of spices, and the liqueur is then cask-matured for three to five years before bottling.
Deep ruby in color, it is rich and true to the fruit, with dark cherry, almond and warm spice and a lasting, not-too-sweet finish. It is the essential ingredient in a Singapore Sling and a Blood and Sand, and it is delicious on the rocks or with soda.
