Amaro Ciociaro is a cult-favorite amaro from the Paolucci family, who have made it since 1873 in Sora, in the Ciociaria region of Lazio between Rome and Naples. It is a blend of carefully selected natural botanicals from an authentic regional recipe that the family has guarded for five generations, and it has become a darling of American bartenders for its versatility and price.
It is medium-bodied and bittersweet with notes of bitter orange, gentian, cola-like spice, and dried herbs, finishing warm and gently bitter at 30% ABV.
