Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey was born right here in San Diego, in Ocean Beach, where bartender Steven Yeng and his wife Brittany turned the peanut butter whiskey shot he served at their OB bar into the brand that created an entire category. Skrewball blends real whiskey with peanut butter flavor and bottles it at 70 proof, and since its 2018 launch it has become one of the fastest-growing spirits in America.
The story is pure Ocean Beach. Steven's bar was known for its band of misfits, black sheep and skrewballs who kept the nightly party going and were always there to support the community when anyone needed a hand, and the black sheep on the label honors them. The whiskey tastes like creamy peanut butter with a warm whiskey finish, sweet but not cloying.
