Everything is done by hand, from peeling hundreds of pounds of citrus to weighing dozens of spices and decorticating vanilla beans, and Bittercube uses only raw ingredients with no extracts or oils.
These orange bitters are citrus-forward with prominent aromas of caramelized orange, toasted coriander, and toasted cardamom. The orange peel is double-macerated to enhance the flavor, and burnt sugar is added at the end for a subtle caramelized-orange taste that sets them apart from ordinary orange bitters. A dash or two elevates a Martini, an Old Fashioned, a Manhattan, a Negroni, or a gin and tonic. One bottle seasons dozens of cocktails and is a bar-cart essential.
