The brothers bet that the calcareous clay soils and dramatic day-to-night temperature swings of the Santa Lucia Range could produce Cabernet to rival Napa, and in little more than a decade DAOU became one of the most celebrated names in California wine.
This Paso Robles Cabernet is made in DAOU's signature style: ripe, plush, and polished, with dark fruit, a touch of oak spice, and soft, velvety tannins that make it easy to enjoy young.
