Château du Breuil 8 Year Sauternes Cask Finish Calvados
Château du Breuil 8 Year Sauternes Cask Finish is a 750ml, 82-proof calvados from Château du Breuil, the 16th-century château and distillery in the Pays d'Auge, Normandy's most prestigious calvados appellation. This eight-year-old calvados spent several additional months in small French oak barrels that previously held Sauternes, the great sweet wine of Bordeaux.
The finish imparts honeyed, gourmet fruit flavors to the baked apple and oak of the calvados, a unique marriage of tradition and innovation from the cellar master. Sip it neat or with a single cube as a digestif.
