G.E. Massenez Vieux Calvados
G.E. Massenez Vieux Calvados is a 750ml, 40% ABV aged Normandy apple brandy selected by Massenez, the Alsace distillery founded in 1870 and renowned worldwide for its fruit eaux-de-vie and liqueurs. Vieux denotes a calvados aged at least three years in oak, and this bottling captures the essence of Normandy's finest cider apples.
Radiant amber with golden highlights, it offers baked apple, oak and vanilla on the nose, and a refined palate of ripe apple sweetness, cinnamon, nutmeg and a touch of caramel with an enduring, graceful finish. Sip it neat, or use it in a Jack Rose or calvados Old Fashioned.
