Campo Bravo Reposado Tequila

Campo Bravo Reposado is a 100 percent blue Weber agave tequila from NOM 1566, a distillery working with agave grown in Michoacán on the eastern edge of the tequila appellation, rested in American white oak barrels long enough to take on a pale gold color and a layer of wood over the agave. The spirit starts the same way as the Plata, agave cooked in stone ovens and autoclaves, fermented in stainless steel without fibers, double distilled in copper-coil and copper pot stills, then it goes into oak before being carbon filtered and bottled at 40% ABV. Tequila Matchmaker tasters most often pick up cooked agave, vanilla and pear on the nose with a little black pepper, then vanilla, cinnamon, cooked agave and barrel spice on the palate with a warm finish, the classic value-reposado profile that puts a touch of sweetness and spice into a margarita, a cadillac or a tequila old fashioned without burying the agave. It comes in the brand's tall glass bottle with the ornate engraved black-and-gold label and charging bull under a silver cap, 750ml, natural cork. An affordable 100 percent agave reposado for cocktails, shots and anyone who likes a little oak in the well.
