This cask comes from Petite Champagne, the chalky cru just outside Grande Champagne, aged twelve years and bottled at 57.6% ABV.
Petite Champagne gives finesse and length. Expect white flowers, citrus peel and stone fruit on the nose, a full, oily palate of honey, dried apricot, vanilla and gentle oak spice, and a long, elegant finish that keeps evolving in the glass. Add water a few drops at a time to find the sweet spot.
