Jean Fillioux Cep d'Or Très Vieille Grande Champagne Cognac
Jean Fillioux Cep d'Or Très Vieille Grande Champagne Cognac comes from one of the most admired family estates in Cognac, Domaine La Pouyade in Juillac-le-Coq, where the Fillioux family has grown, distilled and aged its own Grande Champagne cognac since 1880. Cep d'Or, the golden vine, is the estate's XO-level blend of old eaux-de-vie, aged around twenty years in Limousin oak and bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) without additives.
Grande Champagne at this age shows rich candied orange, dried apricot and fig, honey, gingerbread spice and a nutty, oxidative rancio, on a silky palate with a long, elegant finish. It is a cognac for slow neat sipping after dinner, and it pairs beautifully with dark chocolate.
Estate-bottled Grande Champagne of this age is rare at this price, and this 750ml bottle is a connoisseur's pick. Buy Jean Fillioux Cep d'Or Très Vieille Grande Champagne Cognac online with fast shipping right to your door.
