Cooperstown Select 2022 Limited Edition Single Malt Whiskey Baseball Decanter
Cooperstown Select 2022 Limited Edition Single Malt Whiskey comes from Cooperstown Distillery in Cooperstown, New York, the distillery down the road from the National Baseball Hall of Fame, and it is bottled in the distillery's signature baseball-shaped decanter. It is a straight American single malt made from New York malted barley, finished in sherry casks and bottled at 102 proof.
Cooperstown Distillery describes praline and candied apple from the sherry finish over the malty, honeyed base, and the whiskey has earned awards on its own merits, apart from the bottle. Which is saying something, because the bottle is the draw: a glass baseball with stitching detail that makes it the ultimate gift for a baseball fan, a Hall of Fame pilgrim, a coach or a Little League dad. The 2022 Limited Edition is a small run and once the year's stock is gone it is replaced by the next vintage, so each edition becomes a collectible. Pour it neat and put the ball on the mantel.
