Taylor's 1887 Old Taylor Distillery in Millville, Kentucky after decades of ruin, builds it on the same mash bill as its Restoration Rye: 63% rye, 20% malted barley, and 17% yellow corn from Walnut Grove Farm. That rye new-make is redistilled and vapor-infused through a custom Vendome dual-basket gin still with eight botanicals: juniper, coriander, angelica root, licorice root, lemon verbena, and the three the distillery calls its own — chamomile, ginger, and rosemary.
