Papalin 4 Year Old Original Vatted Rum is a blend of pot still rums from Jamaica's Hampden and Worthy Park distilleries, vatted and aged together for four years and bottled at 53.1% ABV by the legendary Italian bottler Velier. It is a modern homage to the old Jamaican house blends, and it shows: overripe banana, pineapple, molasses, and tropical funk on the nose, a rich, oily palate of caramel, toasted oak, chocolate, and spice, and a long, expressive finish.
