New Deal Cascara Liqueur
New Deal Cascara Liqueur is a 750ml handcrafted, small-batch liqueur from New Deal Distillery in Portland, Oregon. It is made from cascara, the dried fruit of the coffee cherry that surrounds the bean, along with New Deal's own spirits and pure cane sugar.
The taste is complex and layered, beginning with raisin, candied fig and cookie on the nose and continuing with a delicate body of dried apricot, black tea, honey, hay, baking spice and maple, with a long, persistent finish. Use it in an Old Fashioned or sour, pair it with rum or bourbon, or sip it neat.
