Description: Akkeshi Shoman “Nature Thrives” is the eleventh release in the 24 Sekki series from Akkeshi Distillery in Hokkaido, Japan, capturing the spring season when nature bursts into bloom. This malt & grain blend uses whisky matured in Hokkaido mizunara oak as its cornerstone, blended with spirits aged in ex-bourbon, sherry, red wine and rum casks. Bottled at 48 % ABV and non-chill filtered, it opens with golden apple, muscat grapes and tropical fruit layered above charred wood, maple bacon and white pepper, delivering a refined and dynamic balance of sweet and savory. A beautifully composed whisky that celebrates vitality, elegance and Japanese craft.
