Redbreast 12 Year Irish Whiskey
Redbreast 12 Year Irish Whiskey is the benchmark single pot still whiskey and the flagship of the Redbreast range from Midleton Distillery in County Cork. Made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills, it is matured for at least twelve years in a combination of bourbon-seasoned American oak and Oloroso sherry-seasoned Spanish oak, and bottled at 40% ABV.
The strong sherry cask contribution gives Redbreast its trademark Christmas cake character: dried fruit, raisin, nuts and spice on the nose, a full, creamy palate of toffee, dark fruit and the peppery spice of pot still whiskey, and a long, warming finish. It is one of the most awarded whiskeys in Ireland and best enjoyed neat.
This 750ml bottle is the essential Irish whiskey for anyone moving beyond blends. Buy Redbreast 12 Year Irish Whiskey online with fast shipping right to your door.
