Volcán de Mi Tierra is Moët Hennessy's tequila — a 50/50 partnership with the Gallardo family of Jalisco — made at Agrotequilera de Jalisco, NOM 1523, at the foot of the Tequila volcano, with the profile created by maestra Ana María Romero Mena. The Cristalino is 75% lowland agave slow-roasted forty-four hours in masonry ovens and 25% highland agave from autoclaves, fermented with champagne and rum yeasts in wood and stainless, double-distilled, aged as añejo in American oak whiskey casks and as extra añejo in ex-Cognac European oak from Hennessy, blended, charcoal-filtered to remove the color, and bottled at 40% ABV, additive-free — no abocantes.
