Momokawa Silver is the dry, crisp Tokubetsu Junmai from Momokawa, brewed by SakéOne in Forest Grove, Oregon, one of the first craft sake breweries in the United States. Tokubetsu Junmai means "special pure rice": brewed with no added alcohol from rice polished further than a standard junmai, using traditional Japanese technique and soft Oregon water.
Silver is the driest sake in the Momokawa range, clean and light with subtle rice notes, a hint of citrus, and a crisp finish at 15% ABV. That dryness makes it a superb food sake: serve it chilled with sushi, oysters, grilled fish, or salty snacks, or gently warmed on a cool night.
