Cincoro is five NBA owners' tequila — cinco for the founders, oro for gold — and Michael Jordan is the one on the bottle. Jordan, Jeanie Buss of the Lakers, Wes Edens of the Bucks, and Emilia Fazzalari and Wyc Grousbeck of the Celtics launched it in 2019 with the stated goal of a new gold standard; Derek Jeter and Serena Williams joined as co-owners later. It's made at Casa Maestri, NOM 1438, in Jalisco from a blend of highland and lowland blue Weber agave — unusual for a premium brand — slow-cooked, double-distilled, and bottled unaged at 40% ABV in a seventeen-inch glass bottle shaped like the agave heart. Drinkhacker found the Blanco pungent and peppery, a powerhouse that demands attention — mushroom earthiness against hibiscus and raspberry. Wooden Cork: clean and smooth, fresh agave, citrus, and minerality, with the two terroirs giving both fruit and earth.
