Cincoro Reposado rests eight to ten months in American oak — the most versatile bottle in Michael Jordan's line, in Wooden Cork's read. Cincoro is five NBA owners' tequila — cinco for the founders, oro for gold: Jordan, Jeanie Buss of the Lakers, Wes Edens of the Bucks, and Emilia Fazzalari and Wyc Grousbeck of the Celtics launched it in 2019, and Derek Jeter and Serena Williams joined as co-owners. It's made at Casa Maestri, NOM 1438, in Jalisco from a blend of highland and lowland blue Weber agave, slow-cooked, double-distilled, aged eight to ten months in American oak, and bottled at 40% ABV in the seventeen-inch agave-heart bottle. Wooden Cork: rounded and mellow, vanilla and oak over the blended agave character. Drinkhacker reviewed it alongside the Blanco at launch. Expect a nose of vanilla, caramel, and cooked agave with a soft oak note, opening into a smooth, sweet palate of butterscotch, vanilla, and light spice with almost no heat and a short, gentle finish.
