Mijenta Reposado is Ana María Romero Mena's blanco rested six months in a mix of American white oak, French oak, and French acacia — three woods, from the first B Corp tequila. The name comes from mi gente — my people — and the brand launched in 2020 out of Arandas, in the southern Los Altos highlands, with Romero, one of Mexico's most respected maestras tequileras, building every expression. The Reposado is 100% blue Weber agave from Arandas' red clay soils, farmed without pesticides or herbicides, cooked in low-pressure autoclaves, fermented with proprietary yeast, distilled in stainless pots, rested six months in American oak, French oak, and acacia casks, and bottled at 40% ABV, additive-free — in recycled glass with labels made of agave waste.
