Made with water from the same mountain streams and the same lantern-shaped copper stills Smith designed, it replicates his original freedom to select from casks of a range of ages, with no age statement.
Master distiller Alan Winchester marries traditional aged oak casks with American first-fill oak, casks never before used for whisky, which lend a smooth, creamy sweetness to the delicate, fruity spirit. Bottled at 80 proof, it offers citrus, orange and pear on the nose, then a creamy palate of toffee apple, vanilla and gentle spice, finishing soft and sweet.
