The Glenlivet Nàdurra Oloroso Matured is the sherried, cask-strength member of the Nàdurra range, whose Gaelic name means "natural." From the distillery George Smith founded in 1824 as the first licensed distillery in the Livet valley, it is matured exclusively in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, bottled in numbered batches at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered, exactly as whisky was made in the 19th century.
At 120.4 proof (60.2% ABV), it is The Glenlivet at its richest: sultana, dark chocolate, orange peel and rich fruitcake on the nose, then a full, chewy palate of sherried dried fruit, honey, cinnamon and nutmeg over the distillery's signature orchard-fruit smoothness, finishing long and warming with a splash of water unlocking further sweetness.
