It's made by Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, the Kulsveen family's Willett Distillery, which bottled sourced Kentucky stock under Rowan's Creek, Noah's Mill, and Johnny Drum for years before restarting its own stills in 2012; Rowan's Creek is the lighter, floral sibling to Noah's Mill — a blend of Kentucky straight bourbons bottled at 100.1 proof in the squat, wax-topped bottle. The house notes: caramel and vanilla layered over herbal and floral notes on the nose; an oily start and a dry finish, with sweet caramel, vanilla, and florals on the palate, closing on oak and a lingering spiciness.
