512 Reposado Tequila
512 Reposado Tequila is the rested expression from 512, the Austin, Texas brand named after the capital's area code and made in Jalisco, Mexico, from 100% blue Weber agave. After distillation, the tequila is aged in American oak barrels, long enough to soften the spirit and layer in the warmth of the wood while keeping the agave front and center.
It shows sweet cooked agave with vanilla, caramel, and subtle undertones of oak and spice, carried on a smooth, velvety texture, and it finishes warm and inviting at 40% ABV. It is a natural sipper neat or over a large cube, and it makes a richer Margarita, a Tequila Old Fashioned, or a smoky-sweet Paloma. This 750 ml bottle is the step up from 512 Blanco for anyone who likes a touch of oak.
