Asbach Privatbrand 8 Year Brandy
Asbach Privatbrand 8 Year is a 750ml German brandy from Asbach, founded by Hugo Asbach in Rüdesheim am Rhein in 1892 and family-owned until 1991. Made with carefully selected wines from the best growing areas, it is aged at least eight years in small Limousin oak barrels and further refined through Asbach's secret maturing process.
Dark amber in the glass, it offers a pronounced fruity aroma with bitter chocolate and cedar. The palate is full-bodied and spicy with well-developed fruit, almond and spice, and the finish is very long, aromatic and ripe. Sip it neat or with a single ice cube.
