Zoranj Anmé ("bitter orange" in Haitian Creole) is a Haitian orange liqueur from Ayiti Bitters Company, a producer that builds its bitters and liqueurs on the island's herbal traditions and native cane spirit. Sun-ripened Haitian orange peels are infused into cane spirit with local botanicals and lightly sweetened, producing a bold, aromatic alternative to European triple sec. Bottled at 35% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The nose is fresh orange zest, candied peel and soft spice. The palate is juicy orange layered with dried citrus, warming spice and subtle herbal depth over a smooth, sweet cane backbone, and the finish is long and zesty with lingering citrus oils, a touch of bitterness and gentle warmth.
