Azunia Black Label Special Edition is a two-year añejo from Azunia Tequila, made at Rancho Miravalle in the Tequila Valley of Jalisco from 100% organic estate-grown blue Weber agave. Azunia is known for its traditional, additive-free process: the agave is slow-roasted in brick ovens, fermented in open-air tanks, and double distilled before resting in oak.
Black Label spends two full years in barrels, twice the añejo minimum, developing a deep amber color and rich layers of caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, dried fruit, and baking spice over the earthy cooked agave of the valley. The finish is long, velvety, and warm at 40% ABV. Sip it neat from a snifter after dinner. This 750 ml bottle is a special-occasion tequila and a superb gift for a collector.
