Tre Kors means three crosses in Norwegian, and this VS has been Norway's favorite cognac for generations. It is a blend of young eaux-de-vie from across the Cognac crus, aged in French oak and bottled at 40% ABV.
It pours a bright gold with a fruity, floral nose of apricot, orange blossom and a touch of vanilla. The palate is smooth and well balanced, with apricot and pear leading, a gentle oak spice and vanilla adding depth, and a warm, pleasant finish. It is an excellent sipping VS and a versatile cocktail cognac for a Sidecar, a French 75 or a cognac and ginger ale.
