They were inspired by the pepperkaker ginger cookies of Scandinavian Christmas markets, and they solve a real bar problem: fresh ginger juice is wonderful but loses its flavor almost immediately, while these bitters bring that bite any time.
Made from a combination of dried gingers, they add gingersnap warmth to winter cocktails made with rum and bourbon, and they work beautifully in classic bucks and mules; ten drops in a Moscow Mule turns it into something special.
