Browne Family Spirits Northwest Botanical Lavender Gin is made at the Browne Family Distillery in Spokane, Washington, the spirits arm of Walla Walla's Browne Family Vineyards, where production is led by master distiller Aaron Kleinhelter. The distillery leans on Washington-grown ingredients, and this gin, previously sold as Gigi's Garden Gin, is built around Pacific Northwest lavender. Juniper stays at the core, with lavender and rosehip layered on top of a classic botanical base, and the spirit is bottled at a punchy 45% ABV (90 proof) so the florals do not go soft in a mixed drink. The producer describes lavender and rosehip over juniper on the nose; a floral, aromatic palate where the lavender leads but the juniper keeps it honest as a gin; and a soft, smooth finish that stays floral without turning perfumed.
