The house is famous for its holdings in the Borderies cru and for a distillation style that keeps the aromatic lees in the still, and this XO showcases well-aged eaux-de-vie blended for opulence. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
It pours a radiant amber with golden accents. The nose is delicate florals, dried fruit, vanilla and oak. On the palate, sun-ripened apricot, toffee and toasted almond mingle in a velvety, perfectly balanced texture, and the finish is long and graceful. It is a cognac to pour neat after dinner and take slowly.
