Chicas Divertidas Reposado Tequila
Chicas Divertidas Reposado is the oak-rested expression of Megan Thee Stallion's tequila, launched in February 2025 and produced at Casa Centinela, NOM 1140, the Arandas distillery making Highland tequila since 1904. It starts as the same 100 percent blue Weber agave as the Blanco, single-estate agave from the red volcanic soil around Arandas, harvested at peak maturity, slow-cooked in traditional masonry ovens and distilled in copper stills, then rests in American oak barrels before bottling at 40% ABV. The brand describes caramelized agave, American oak and cooking spices with an elegant finish, which is to say the Blanco's citrus and herbal sweetness wrapped in vanilla, light toffee and a little cinnamon, soft enough to sip neat and rich enough to carry a tequila old fashioned or a top-shelf margarita. The bottle is the Angel's Trumpet-inspired twisting glass form with agave grooves, this time shaded from purple at the neck through pink to red at the base, finished with the gold dagger-pierced heart stopper. 750ml, limited retail allocation. The step-up pour in the range and the one to gift when the Blanco is not enough.
