Built on the Speyside malt of Strathisla, the oldest continuously operating distillery in the Highlands, it marries more than twenty single malts and grain whiskies, every one aged at least eighteen years.
Bottled at 80 proof, the 18 is famously rich and velvety: dried fruit, toffee and dark chocolate on the nose, then a layered palate of sherried fruit, honey, buttery caramel, orange and a wisp of gentle smoke, finishing long and elegant.
